Philip Piralkov is a commercial manager in Movio Logistics. He has been in this position at the company for 2 years now. He shares some bits about his work in the company, his experience, and some interesting stories.
What were you able to gain from this position in terms of experience and knowledge?
My current position has given me the opportunity to be one of the creators of a very ambitious project, which is our business with "Mars". I also had the opportunity to immerse myself in the Logistics Services business, where Movio is a strong leader. During these two years we managed to really strengthen the company's positions.
Are there any people who have helped you on your way up?
Over the years, I have been lucky enough to have my managers' support. However, my biggest support has always been my team. We've always been working side by side so their success is my success. Being backed up by your team is the greatest incentive to keep going up and forward. This becomes possible only when you leave somebody who can take over your responsibilities. I am fortunate to have my managers as my inspiration and I hope I have also inspired somebody after me.
Can you recall any interesting work-related stories you'd like to share?
I've had lots of positive and inspiring moments over the years and still 2022 is one of the most exciting years in my career. In 2021 we've had a really hard time while trying to build the business relationship with "Mars". At one point the team seemed disheartened. You could tell that they were doubtful whether we were working in the right direction. This year I'm thrilled to notice the spark in their eyes ignited by achieving amazing results.
What do you like to do in your free time? Do you share hobbies with any of your co-workers?
I would say that my favourite out of all my hobbies is playing football. For more than 15 years, a few of my colleagues and I play football together. In time, more and more co-workers decide to join us and now we are a big group. Thursday at 6pm we shut down the computers and at 7pm we let the football begin.

I would like to share my recipe for success as it is very simple and consists of only one, single ingredient. This ingredient is called a "TEAM". There is no goal a good team cannot achieve. I dare say Movio Logistics' Sales Team is amazing and can achieve great things.
What is your favorite dessert and how do you make it?
My favorite dessert is Homemade Snickers. The ingredients I use are dates, nuts, cocoa beans and dark chocolate chips. It's a delicious dessert which I take as a reward for a job well done. During the day I sell one of the most recognizable brands in the world, and in the evening, I can sit down and prepare "My Snickers" in peace.
Finally, Philip Piralkov shares an entertaining story about his team. It is about a role play they had made up, while in Borovets, which had to help them brainstorm an idea for developing a concept for a B2B site. Philip and his team had come up with such ideas that Bulgaria's gross domestic product would hardly subsidize them. However, the whole planning process turns out to be very useful, because they managed to get into details of the business that they have never been able to reach before.
