On June 30th, the second green forum was held. It was organized by the "Manager" magazine and GLOBUL under the title "The Green Future of Bulgaria". The event took place in the garden behind the "Earth and Man" National Museum in Sofia. The moderator was Julian Popov - chairman of the School of Politics. The special guest of the event was Mr. José Rodrígues Dos Santos, world-renowned writer, journalist and educator, author of the bestsellers "The Seventh Seal" and "God's Formula". The writer opened the event and set the direction of the conversations in the forum.

With his statement on "The End of the Oil Age", he outlined the problems facing the world - whether it be for economies or for people as individuals. Regarding the global warming and high carbon emissions, José Rodrígues dos Santos shared his theory of "the earth temperature as a living creature" and supported the theory with actual examples such as natural phenomena, biophysical and chemical processes, he used mathematics, economics, and statistics. Dos Santos shared his opinion on why the end of the oil era is coming, citing a lot of evidence through economic analysis - he showed every geographical point where oil is extracted to prove his theory that humanity should seriously start thinking about bigger use of renewable energy sources, as fuel reserves are rapidly depleting and there must be alternative sources to power the world's economies. He concluded that if we rely only on the earth's reserves, soon most economies will begin to suffer - and therefore people will suffer, since they are now completely dependent on it.
After that, the first panel discussed the topics "How to reduce dependence on carbon energy sources", "Energy efficiency and energy transmission", "The new RES law - opportunities and risks" and "Business Strategies That Incorporate Carbon Footprint Reduction". The members of the panel were Catherine Barber - temporary manager of the British Embassy, Snezhana Semova - manager of "St. Gobain Weber Bulgaria", Boryana Manolova - CEO of Siemens for Bulgaria, Tsvetelina Borislavova - Clever Synergies Investment Fund and Georgi Angelov - senior economist at "Open community".
In the second panel, the discussion of alternative options for travel and movement of goods continued.
