After several months of negotiations and permission from the Commission for the Protection of Competition, on June 8, 2017, the transaction for the purchase of "VM Automation" EOOD from "Mundus Services" AD was concluded, the purpose of which is to consolidate the business of integrated facility services in Bulgaria.
"VM Automation" EOOD was created by "VM Finance Group" AD in 2009 as the successor of the "Johnson Controls" representative offices in Bulgaria. Starting as a startup, for the last 8 years, thanks to the VM Finance Group management and the implementation of good and established corporate practices, the company has proved itself as a leader in the field of complex solutions for cooling, ventilation and air conditioning and uninterruptible and emergency power supply.
The deal represents the start of a partnership between VMFG and Mundus, as VMFG will continue to support the development of VMA. This strategic step represents the implementation of VMFG's long-term strategy to build market leaders such as Avendi, Transimport, Muvio Logistics, Edenred Bulgaria, Gebr. Heinemann, ABC Children's Center and MIT Press.
