20.04.2011 A team organized the national eco campaign of ECOPAK “Architects of the future” 2011

In April, May and June, "ECOPACK Bulgaria" JSC, the largest organization for recovery of packaging waste, launched the second stage of national information and education campaign to motivate citizens to participate in separate collection systems for waste packaging, entitled "Architects of the Future". During the first phase in October and November 2010 the eco-tent of ECOPAK visited 6 Bulgarian cities - Bourgas, Varna, Dobrich, Ruse, Pleven and Stara Zagora and was attended by over 50,000 people.

The campaign will continue to inform and educate citizens about the practice of separate collection of packaging waste and the process of conversion to raw materials for production. Second stage of the campaign will include 6 new cities Sofia, Montana, Veliko Tarnovo, Shumen, Haskovo and Kyustendil.

For the purpose of the project in the center of each city will be located "the ECO tent of ECOPAK"

The tent is divided into 3 equal-size spaces that represent the 3 types of packaging waste - plastic, metal, glass and paper. In each room there will be three separate corners. The first - media room, where on the screens will be projected special educational shot. The second place gives an idea of the "path of the waste" - installation demonstrating the stages of processing of waste metal, plastic, paper and glass to produce raw materials for packaging. In the third area will be presented art works made of packaging waste - metal, plastic, paper and glass. All items are made specifically for the campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to inform and motivate people to separate their waste packaging, thus contributing to resource saving and environmental protection. During the campaign, the tent and the ECOPACK teams will be available to all visitors and will answer their questions on the process for separate collection and recycling, as well as the benefits of it.
