Assen Assenov

Assen Assenov has been the General Manager of Movio Logistics since 2009.

Between 2002 and 2009 Assen held the position of Executive Director of Corecom Princess. Previously, from 1998, he worked as a lawyer for Princess in Bulgaria. He began his professional career as a lawyer-in-training at the Atanasov and Partners law firm. Mr. Assenov is a graduate in Law from Sofia University and has additionally completed a number of professional courses in his field.

Maxim Mayer

Maxim Mayer has been the Editor in Chief of Manager Magazine since 2005.

Previously, he worked as Director of Sega Daily and of Zhenata Dnes and Nash Dom magazines. He was also Editor-in-Chief of Zhenata Dnes, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Standard Daily and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Pari Daily, as well as Senior Reporter for 168 Hours Weekly. He graduated in Journalism from Sofia University and received additional training at the BBC. He trained the journalist teams at 168 Hours Press Group and covered the news on the war in former Yugoslavia in the early 1990s.

Maria Stamenkova

Maria Stamenkova has been the General Manager of Gebr. Heinemann Bulgaria since 2005.

Maria began her professional development at the Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan Business Center in 1986 as Coordinator and Assistant to representatives of international companies with investment interest in Bulgaria. After 1992, 8 years followed at Rothmans of Pall Mall Bulgaria as Marketing Manager and another 4 years with Imperial Tobacco as Regional Marketing Manager for Romania, Albania, Serbia and FYR Macedonia. She graduated with English philology from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and completed a number of marketing courses in the UK.

Medhi Benbouguerra

Medhi Benbouguerra has been the CEO of Edenred Bulgaria since 2015.

Prior to this he held the position of Deputy CEO in the same company. His professional experience also includes being in the role of CEO of Menew® for 4 years, another company in the field of food vouchers, part of VM Finance Group. Medhi was born in France. He has a diploma from the University of law in Montpellier and a Master’s degree in International Commerce from ESICAD in Montpellier.
 

Paul Cristescu

Paul Cristescu has been the General Manager of Heinrig Food & Beverages since 2017.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of sales, business development and consulting. Paul had a long career in Danone which included the positions of Regional manager for Romania and Moldova and Country Manager for Romania. He was also a Business Development Manager co-leading the integration of Kraft-Danone LU Biscuits/Snacks which started in 2008. After that he enriched his experience by working in the business from the consulting side as Managing Partner in a consulting company specializing in Route to Market Projects & Interim Management. His last role before joining the H F&B team, was of Sales Manager in Tchibo. Paul is Bachelor of Engineering from Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest and has a MBA from Bucharest School of Management.

Rositsa Ivanova

Rositsa Ivanova has been the General Manager of ABC KinderCare Center since its creation in January 2008.

Rositsa has been working as an educationist with multinational clients since 1997. She graduated with Preschool Education from Blagoevgrad University and in International Economic Relations from the University for National and World Economy in Sofia. For more than 10 years she has been a Sofia University associated teacher, instructing university students in pre-school pedagogy in practice. Currently, Rositsa continues to enjoy a fruitful cooperation with Sofia University’s lecturers. She has completed a training course at the American Montessory Training Academy.

Sirma Doneva

Sirma Doneva has been the Chief Operating Officer of the Corporate Center of VM Finance Group since 2014.

She has a longtime experience in the field of management and development of Human Resources. Sirma occupied  key managing roles in a number of large companies from diverse business sectors such as Coca-Cola HBC and Ideal Standard International - East Europe Region. Sirma has a Master degree in Industrial Economics & Management and she was a lector in the conferences of The Bulgarian Association for People Management and Apeiron Communication multiple times.

 

Hristina Vancheva

Hristina Vancheva has been the General Manager of A Team since 2008.

Hristina was one of the most successful producers in the Bulgarian music industry, owner of a recording studio and art director of projects in leading electronic and print media. Her portfolio includes a number of successful social and political campaigns for international clients and municipal authorities. She has accumulated extensive experience with the event management agency she established in 2005. Hristina was the producer and manager of Karisma, a musical duet, and an imagemaker and conceptualist of various musical projects by singers Maria Ilieva, Kamelia Todorova, Mariana Popova, Orlin Goranov and many others. She graduated with Bulgarian Philology and Philosophy from Sofia University. She also completed a postgraduate program at the Centre for the Study of Democracy, Cambridge.

Tsvetan Beshevishki

Tsvetan Beshevishki has been the General Manager of Transimport since the beginning of 2015.

Before joining Transimport he was on the position National Key Account Manager in Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria. He built his career in the same company starting from Market Developer and subsequently going through the roles of Team Leader, Regional Sales Coach and Regional Sales Manager. Tsvetan has a Master degree in Finance from the D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics, Svishtov.
 

Juliana Hartarska

Juliana has been the General Manager of Avendi since 2013.

Juliana began her career at Agrima AD – the representative office of PepsiCo for Bulgaria, followed by a position at the representative office of Reckitt Benckiser. In 2001 Juliana joined VM Finance Group as Trade Marketing Manager for Beck's. Soon after that she took the responsibility for the portfolio of Diageo - the largest producer of spirits in the world. A year later she was promoted to Wine&Spirits Division Manager. Juliana holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Management from the University for National and World Economy in Sofia.
